The most comfortable Yeezys are known to be any of the ultra boost series shoes; Yeezy 350, Yeezy 380, and Yeezy 700. The comfort of Yeezys largely depends on getting the correct size so make sure you refer to my article on sizing!
Shoe Name | Comfortable Rating (out of 5) | Foot fatigability with long-duration wear | Sizing |
Yeezy 380 | 5/5 | Low | Size up for a more comfortable fit |
Yeezy 350 | 4/5 | Moderate | V1 is true to size, V2 runs small |
Yeezy 700 | 4/5 | Very low | True to size |
Yeezy 500 | 3.5/5 | Low | Runs small |
Yeezy Foam Runner | 4.5/5 | Low | True to size, but size down if you’re in between sizes |
Yeezy 380
The Yeezy 380 has a snug fit that hugs your ankles once you wear them. While they’re a little tricky to put on, the shoes definitely feel super comfortable once you break them in.
Compared to other Yeezys, the Yeezy 380 has more room in the toe-box area which prevents cramping especially if you have wide feet.
The heel on Yeezy 380 has better support and structure which assists you during walks. This feature makes them wearable for long durations with decreased fatigue.
These can be worn true-to-size since the silhouette is wider but it’s recommended to size up if you’re in between sizes or have wide feet.
Yeezy 350
Yeezy 350 again features the infamous ‘boost’ cushioning technology (a classic feature of Yeezys). This gives the shoes a pillow-like effect, which is great when you have to wear shoes for a long time.
However, if your day involves a lot of walking, you might want to opt for other shoes since the extra cushion on Yeezy 350 makes them a tad bit unstable. So they’re not ideal for walks or runs.
Yeezy 350 also features a primeknit fabric upper which makes them super comfortable but also fragile since you can’t exactly wear the Yeezys 350s on marathons or you’ll just rip it at the seams.
Yeezy 700
The Yeezy 700 was designed as a running shoe so it’s naturally more robust compared to the 350 and 380 variants.
But don’t fret about it! This doesn’t come at the cost of their comfort level. The midsole on Yeezy 700 still features a layer of Boost cushioning but with added stability so you can walk/run in them with ease.
The upper also features a mix of different materials including a mesh underlay for breathability plus an overlay made of roller knit, premium leather, and nubuck. The overall effect? Comfort with durability.
This shoe is ideal to wear on days you need to walk around a lot. And what I love the most about them is that they usually fit true to size!
Yeezy 500
While the Yeezy 500 does not top the list, it’s definitely one of the most comfortable Yeezys to exist. They have a more athletic feel to them with the adiPRENE+ sole which provides cushioning and also acts as a shock absorber when you’re running or walking.
It has an upper composed of elastane, premium leather, and cow suede. This along with the padded collar gives the shoe a stiff yet comfortable feel to it.
Just make sure you size up an entire size since the Yeezy 500 tends to run small.
Yeezy Foam Runners
While the Foam runners were a little controversial immediately after their release, the sneakerverse soon learned to appreciate them for what they are-practical and comfortable slip-ons for the ultimate casual look.
The overall design is a little futuristic but the comfort level? Impeccable! They’re made with EVA foam material that molds according to the shape of your foot. It’s lightweight, soft, and super easy to put on-making them a go-to for casual outfit days.
You can wear these for a long time with minimal foot fatigue, but if you need to walk around a lot and the weather isn’t the best, you might not want to opt for the foam runners and go for a sturdier shoe like Yeezy 700 instead.
So if you plan on buying Yeezys now, you know which one to go for if comfort is your top priority!
